I think I owe all Mayana’s reader apologize for the very late appearance of Mayana book 2, but I will make it up by releasing Mayana: The Vestige of Hope.

However, Mayana: The Vestige of Hope is not Mayana’s second book. It is a 16 pages side story, included in the brand new comic compilation called Cyber Factory – Hyper Realistic Comic Magazine. The story will focused on the past origin of Gypsy, and his relationship with both Dr. Maruska and Phantom Praetorian.

Cyber Factory itself is a comic magazine, produced together by 5 Indonesian comic writer and artist. I am one of them, and I really hope this magazine will fill the gap within Indonesian comic industry. The magazine will be consisted of 5 different short stories, and there were related articles also included. Those comics are:

1. Mayana – The Vestige of Hope by Dedefox
2. Dark Venus – Beautiful Realm by Eric & Zoe
3. Sage Fusion – The Berserker by Yohan Alexander
4. The Chaos – Battle Royale by Gothfather
5. Dark Rider – Faitheea’s Report by 8848

Cyber Factory first issue will be released 19th June in 2nd Hobbies & Toys Fair 2009 at Be Mall, Jl. Naripan 89, Bandung. Official launching will be held in 20th June, around 17.00 WIB (tentative) on the same location. Look for it and probably other new Indonesian comics at KCB Manyala booth.
